But her anonymity shatters when a favor for a friend leads to a beach video that goes viral. Suddenly, Lorelai is thrust into the public eye, linked to the one man who embodies the very noise she avoids: Mateo Silva Costa.

As the city’s Golden Boy, Mateo is the heart of the spotlight. But Lorelai’s final art project on movement and emotion forces her to do the unthinkable: confront her phobia and observe him during training. Through her artist’s gaze, she sees what the cameras miss. Her sketches capture the subtle, agonizing cracks in his perfection—the reality of a man playing through a devastating injury, terrified that the surgery he needs will end his career.
