About Bettina Pries
A New Voice in Contemporary Romance

Bettina Pries is the author of the heartfelt novel “Crazy Normal,” which is set in the high-profile world of football and is available in both German and English.
Born in 1986, Bettina lives in Graz, Austria, with her longtime partner and son. Her love affair with reading and writing began in early childhood—a passion that never faded. Her academic path, including studies in journalism and communications, only deepened her connection to the written word. This lifelong passion for storytelling shaped her career as a copywriter, editor, and PR manager before she turned her focus to fiction.
Bettina loves to craft stories about powerful connections forged in chaotic, real-world settings. While German is her native language, her early fascination with English led her to become an avid consumer of English-language media; she now almost exclusively reads in English and enjoys movies and TV shows in the original language whenever she can. So it may happen that her manuscripts start out in English—or, in the heat of the moment, often in Denglish—before being polished in both languages.
When she’s not busy coming up with new stories for her heroes and heroines, she works at a small editorial office and enjoys spending her free time with her family.
